Hoping to knock this one out tonight. Why hello there, caffeine :P
First scrub in oil layer, blocking some color and minor blending. Letting this dry for a day or so and then going back into it :)
The rough acrylic sketch for my “Ripley and Alien baby” painting (as yet untitled) - it’s a Madonna and Child of sorts. Decided to do something nerdy and fun for my upcoming show instead of taking it too seriously. Just so happens, I enjoy painting way more when I’m having fun ;)
This is black and white acrylic on a 30”x40” canvas. More progress to come. This painting, along with many others, will be at my show in July at 303 North.
